With a combined heaped capacity of 60 cubic yards, this configuration delivers faster production in long cuts and loose material conditions. The modular, bolt-together design of each 1230 improves serviceability and keeps parts commonality across your fleet, while the tandem setup maintains the 1230’s trademark efficiency, low weight, and reduced cost per yard. When job requirements shift, each scraper can be quickly uncoupled and used as a single to match changing site conditions.

K-Tec is simply the best scraper on the market. We have tried so many different brands but will never have to look any further. The only problem I have, is the competition has seen what we can do and are starting to buy K-Tec also.
We’re running eight 1228 K-Tec’s and they’ve been working fantastic, we get quite frankly a lot more production out of the K-Tec’s than the other scrapers we tried. We find that the speed at which we load the K-Tec’s we have about 20% more production than with the other scrapers we used.
We started doing sub divisions about five years ago and came across these K-Tec’s and tried one out and fell in love with them. As far as fuel consumption being competitive and yardage hauled in a day nothing beats them. Push loading our 1233 Trains with the Ox Block we can raise production by 30%.
K-Tec scrapers compared to other scrapers on the market they last a lot longer, they are more durable, they handle the terrain a whole lot better, and when we combine a Case tractor and a K-Tec the machines operate beautifully together, they are a song and a dance.
K-Tec thought about people’s time when building their products. They’re just easy to maintain, easy to work on, easy to hook up, easy to run. They’re just a no-brainer for me.
