Position Overview: The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator plays a critical role in managing payroll, benefits, and personnel records with accuracy and discretion. In this role, you will play a key part in managing confidential employee information, ensuring smooth payroll processing and HR operations, while offering vital support to the Director of HR. The Payroll Coordinator will report directly to the Director of HR, assisting with payroll tasks and handling HR related administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing bi-weekly Canadian payroll
- Calculate and process employee production bonuses
- Benefits Administration
- Submit RRSP contributions
- Ensure that all payroll and benefits practices comply with legal requirements (such as tax laws and labor regulations).
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements
- Establish/maintain Employee records in ADP
- Create, update, and review standard operating procedures
- Assist Finance/HR with providing data for annual audits.
- Maintain and update employee records related to compensation and benefits
- Collecting and verifying employee time and attendance using ADP
- Preparation of requested reports/ data collection
- Oversee and Manage Company Programs
- Training on the new ADP Payroll system will be provided, with additional self-learning required
- New Hire Onboarding/Orientation
- Create job posting for all positions
- Review production resumes and schedule interviews with Managers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding payroll or benefits questions.
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledgeable in current employment legislations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High data entry accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
- Proven ability to maintain records with a high level of commitment to confidentiality.
- Cross border payroll or US payroll law considered an asset.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Payroll Administrator
- 1-2 years’ experience with a payroll system required.
- Payroll designation is considered an asset
- Experience with ADP Payroll system will be an asset.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using MIG processes.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Follow and comply by all safety standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a welder in a Manufacturing setting.
- Proficient mechanical skills.
- Able to use read a measuring tape.
- Read and understand drawings according to individual assemblies.
- Able to operate Oxy-Acetylene torch
- Able to operate machinery safely and keep safety records.

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Design Engineer to join our engineering team at K-Tec Earthmovers, a leader in heavy equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust and high-performing products, including complex mechanical systems and components used in the heavy equipment industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to create products that meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
As a Product Design Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of product development, from initial concept design to prototype testing and final production. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of heavy machinery that is used in industries such as construction, mining, and agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for heavy equipment products, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and safety requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and field services) to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
- Utilize CAD software (such as Inventor or SolidWorks) to develop 3D models and detailed drawings for product designs.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in product testing and validation, ensuring that designs are tested for durability, performance, and safety.
- Analyze data from testing and field use to identify design improvements and make modifications as necessary.
- Support the production team in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the manufacturing process.
- Work closely with the product management team to understand customer needs and market requirements, ensuring that designs meet customer expectations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and design best practices to continuously improve product development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or automotive industries.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA) and engineering design tools.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment and machinery design standards, safety regulations, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO, ANSI).
- Experience in prototyping and testing designs in real-world conditions.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools for product validation.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position typically operates in an office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing plant.
- Occasional travel may be required to customer sites, supplier sites or other company facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and R&D to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to optimize manufacturing workflows and reduce waste.
- Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Manage capital improvement projects, from planning to execution, to enhance manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
- Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation.
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in manufacturing engineering and provide recommendations for process advancements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, automation, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with CAD, ERP, and other engineering software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive change in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications.
- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., automotive, electronics, aerospace, etc.].
- Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing processes.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
