Rosenort, Manitoba — March 18, 2026
The largest trade show in North America, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 drew more than 140,000 attendees to Las Vegas, Nevada, from March 3–7, 2026. Spanning more than 3 million square feet of exhibit space and featuring over 2,000 exhibitors, the show once again brought together the latest innovations in construction equipment and technology.
The K.A. Group used this event to showcase a broad range of scraper solutions under its K-Tec, Ashland brands, with the company’s display anchored by the debut of the new K-Tec 1232 ADT scraper and a preview of its upcoming scraper control technology.
Equipment lineup targets multiple applications
The K.A. Group display included a mix of tractor-pulled and articulated truck scraper configurations aimed at offering scraper solutions for a range of applications from civil earthmoving projects to massive multi-million cubic yard operations. The lineup included a wheeled Case IH Steiger 645 paired with a K-Tec 1230, a Volvo A40J with a K-Tec 1232 Tandem, a Bell B45E with a K-Tec 1237, and a Quadtrac Case IH Steiger 595 with an Ashland 2411E.
New K-TEC 1232 ADT debut
One of the main product announcements from the K.A. Group booth was the introduction of the K-Tec 1232 ADT, a new benchmark scraper with 32 cubic yards of heaped capacity designed for use with 30- to 45-ton articulated trucks. With a 12’ cut width and a 32 cubic yard capacity, the new model is built to deliver faster loading, reduced fuel consumption and lower cost per yard.
At CONEXPO, the unit was displayed in a tandem setup behind a Volvo A40J, giving attendees a look at how the 1232 ADT can be configured for higher-production earthmoving applications. With haul road speeds of up to 35 MPH, the K-Tec 1232 will help contractors move more material per cycle. The display also reinforced the company’s broader message around scraper versatility and fleet efficiency, showing how articulated trucks can be paired with purpose-built scraper systems to take on more than traditional haul-and-dump work.

K-Tec’s Smart Scraper™ Technology
K.A. Group used CONEXPO to highlight both the telematics package coming standard on all 2026 ADT models and the K-Tec Scraper Control System set to release in 2027.
A ground-level joystick and display screen showed each function’s position live as attendees worked the joystick, giving a direct look at how the system will respond in real time. The demonstration was designed to bring the in-cab experience into the booth and show how operators will be able to monitor machine functions through a more visual, integrated interface.
According to the engineering team, telematics on 2026 ADT models will provide access to load weights, load counts and cycle times, while the 2027 scraper control system will build on that platform with a more complete operator-control experience. The demonstration reinforced K.A. Group’s emphasis on measurable performance and practical technology aimed at improving jobsite efficiency.

Interactive display draws traffic
In addition to full-size equipment, the booth featured 1/14-scale remote control K-Tec scrapers built by Dave Plant of Scale Earthmoving. Displayed in the Cut Zone sandbox, the models added an interactive element to the exhibit and attracted attention from both contractors and families attending the show.
New Merch
K.A. Group also showed off a wide variety of new K-Tec, Ashland, and Metalcraft gear at the show, giving attendees an early look at fresh branded apparel and merch. Originally available exclusively at the show, the new merch generated a lot of positive feedback.
The new gear will be released through the K.A. Group online store later this spring, giving customers, dealers, and fans another way to represent the brands.

Educating the next generation
K.A. Group also extended its presence beyond the booth through education programming. Shaun Eidse, Director of Product at K.A. Group, presented a session titled Dumping the Dump Bed: ADTs That Do More.
“By treating it [their articulate truck] as a power unit first, fleets can design for uptime, keep utilization high, and unlock more value from one of the most important machines on the jobsite.” Eidse said.
The presentation focused on expanding the role of articulated dump trucks beyond conventional dump applications. By removing the dump body and adding specialized attachments, Eidse outlined how articulated trucks can be adapted for tasks such as towing scrapers, operating as ejector trucks, hauling equipment, serving as water wagons and supporting other aftermarket applications.
The theme aligned closely with the company’s broader message at CONEXPO: increasing machine versatility, improving fleet utilization and lowering total earthmoving costs.
Other in-booth educational panels included “Meeting the Engineers,” “Ask the Scraper Experts,” “Proven Results,” and “Meet the Next Generation of K-Tec Scrapers.” Each panel highlighted real-world performance, practical operating insights, and supporting data aimed at helping attendees understand why scraper design, efficiency, and application matter in the field.

Looking ahead
Mike Thiessen, Director of Marketing at K.A. Group said, “CONEXPO was a great opportunity to connect with the earthmoving community — from seasoned operators and industry veterans to the next generation already getting excited about heavy equipment. Seeing that level of interest and passion around our brands made the week even more rewarding.”
Coming out of CONEXPO 2026, K.A. Group said it remains focused on developing scraper solutions that improve productivity, increase equipment versatility and deliver measurable field performance.
