With the K-Tec logo emblazoned on the door on the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, John Hunter Nemechek rallied through the field to take the NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in the Andy’s Frozen Custard 335 at Texas Motor Speedway on October 16, 2021.

Nemechek’s impressive victory by 1.316 seconds tallied the second Xfinity Series win in the 24-year-old Nemechek’s career – the other coming at Kansas Speedway in 2018.

Nemechek, led a race-best 92 laps. “I’ve grown a lot as a driver…My goal coming in was to win. I had to win to prove to myself I can do this. I can’t say enough about this whole team. Huge shoutout to ROMCO equipment company, and everyone on board. Thank you to all the fans!”
